Alena Shurduk

Participating in this project provided me with the great opportunity to practice English and, what is more important, it gave me a chance to meet people from around the world, explore other cultures and make friends. During our circle, I’ve learned lots of interesting and impressive things about different countries and their history, values, and traditions. We shared our favorite books, movies, hobbies, recipes, etc. and my bucket list has expanded tremendously! Additionally, Yushan and Leandra provided us with some studying materials for each circle, which increased my vocabulary and my improved fluency. Every one of our circles was filled with the support, joy and laughter that lit up my day and I hope we’ll get together one day soon in person.
